The European Ground System Architecture Workshop (ESAW) is a biannual event organised by the European Space Agency (ESA) that takes place in Darmstadt, Germany. The event takes place at ESOC, the European Space Operations Centre, lately catching the media's eye due to exciting events on the Rosetta/Phillae mission.

This year again, HUJAK and HrOUG joined in organizing one of the largest Java-related conferences in this part of Europe, the fourth edition of JavaCro. The conference took place at Crveni Otok (the Red Island) near Rovinj, and during those two days the interested audience had the opportunity to take part in various talks about the current and future technologies related to the vast ecosystem of Java.

11th Conference “Cartography and Geoinformation”, organized by Croatian Cartographic Society was held in Buzet, Croatia from May 8-10, 2015. By organizing the conference in the International Map Year (IMY), the Croatian Cartographic Society had a wish to contribute to the development of geoinformatics, cartography, geography and associated fields.
