Your responsibilities

  • Working with product and integration team to define product requirements for new releases
  • Working with the rest of the validation team in order to define regression and acceptance testing scope for all existing products 
  • Assist in defining test scope for the requirements of all subsequent releases
  • Design and execute manual tests as needed in order to address requirements of new integration customer projects
  • Design, implement and execute test scripts to be added to the automated scope of the regression testing of standalone applications or integrated project environments
  • Record validation/integration results and supporting evidence in a test management tool (i.e. SpiraTeam, JIRA)
  • Identify and raise defects, for escalation to the relevant parties, including sufficient information to reproduce the defect
  • Create validation and verification procedures to support system and acceptance test campaigns

Absolute MUSTS

  • BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or relevant work experience
  • Sound knowledge of English (B2)
  • Scripting/programming knowledge
  • Ability to work autonomously, ability to adapt and learn new technologies/protocols 
  • Ability to identify and systematically analyze problems/issues/bugs
  • Availability for regular business travel in the Benelux region (especially Belgium)
  • Work permit for EU

Advantage will be given to the candidates with

  • Experience with validation and testing of hardware and/or software (especially in RF/satellite communication)
  • Knowledge of satellite systems, or telecommunication networks
  • Networking concepts (TCP-IP/DNS/DHCP/Network Routing)
  • Knowledge of SQL/databases, Docker/Robot/Jenkins
  • Scripting experience with Python/Batch/Bash
