2014 Achievements

It is the beginning of a new year, making it a perfect time to look back at 2014. So, here’s Amphinicy's overview of 2014 from our COO, Frane Miloš.

Amphinicy at ESAW 2017

European Space Agency (ESA) hosted the 6th European Ground System Architecture Workshop (ESAW 2017) at the European Space Operations Centre in Darmstadt, Germany, 20-21 June 2017. ESAW provided an international forum for the exchange of ideas, results, new trends and practices in the ground segment for space missions.

WebCamp Zagreb 2014

Many of us from Amphinicy attended WebCamp Zagreb on October 4th & 5th.

Amphinicy on Tour or Where to Exhibit Which Month in a Year

The new year has started, and we are already hands on new projects. Looking back at 2016, we can agree it was a dynamic and meaningful year. Amphinicy was granted with two funds for SMEs which supported our sales and marketing activities as well as business development of our innovative product, Blink. We were busy and "out there" and would like to share our travel diary for 2016.

At Visited IBC - Europe’s Largest Broadcast Show

This year, sixth in a row, Amphinicy delegation has visited the IBC Conference in Amsterdam.

Amphinicy Technologies Participated in the Science Workshop Horizon 2020 - Space Program in Croatia

The scientific workshop Horizon 2020 –„ Work program Space - Where is Croatia and how to get involved?“ was held on June 12th 2014 at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture in Zagreb, Croatia. The workshop, organized by the Agency for Mobility and EU Programs and Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb, brought together around 30 participants from science and industry.

WebCamp 2016, Another Take

This year again a lot of our developers and designers attended the annual WebCamp Zagreb conference. The conference was sold out the day before the opening, and unlike before the attendance was exceptional. Luckily, the organization was superb so enough coffee, tea, and even fruit, was just around the corner, while at the same time you could’ve been persuaded by the sponsors to make a (dramatic?) shift in your career at any moment. All in all, I’ve compiled a couple of opinions on some of the talks, which remained to be quite diverse in topics, but less focused on front-end web technologies; WebCamp might even rename itself some day!

WebCamp 2016

For the fourth year in a row, Zagreb was the host city of the WebCamp Zagreb, a technology oriented conference for developers & designers, which was held from October 28 to October 29, 2016. The conference attracted more than 800 professionals and entrepreneurs and around 30 presenters. It was organized by Frontman Zagreb, JavaScript Zagreb, Lambda Zagreb, Python Hrvatska, Ruby Zagreb, Web Designers Hrvatska, Testival and Zagreb PHP meetup and was supported by many sponsors. Besides that, two of our employees helped the organization of the conference.

September Mix of Amsterdam, IBC and HD (Earth) Observation

Busy as IBC

IBC (ex International Broadcasting Convention) in Amsterdam is one of the largest annual events in the region: an exhibition and conference for professionals in media, broadcasting and accompanying business. All the exhibitors, conference speakers and visitors span a multitude of categories. There were content creators, equipment manufacturers, business professionals and technical associations; and all other participants that may somehow be connected to the broadcasting industry.

Amphinicy @ Cardiff PyConUK

In September, three Amphinicy employees visited PyConUK in Cardiff. PyCon UK is the annual gathering of the UK Python community and its friends from around the world. The conference took place in the positively regal Cardiff City Hall, a building with beautiful architecture in the center of Cardiff where more than five hundred Python enthusiasts attended talks about various topics in Python world.
