One of the main tasks of the Mission Operation Center (MOC) is to coordinate the data transmissions from and to the satellite(s) when they are within reach of the ground stations. To do so, MOC needs to monitor and control different parts of the system and align them with operational procedures. MOC M&C is based on the generic MONICA framework.
MOC tasks include infrastructure management operations (system readiness, failure recovery, redundancy and network management), service delivery operations (planning, scheduling, equipment operation and data management), configuration management (software updates, equipment changes and operational procedure changes) and customer management operations (service availability, order handling and user helpdesk).
The system provides a remotely accessible HTML5 graphical user interface, which enables the operator to retrieve information from different parts of the system and to control the system at the same time. This is done using standardized M&C paradigms such as alarming, equipment configuration management, automated alarm actions, role based user permissions, a highly configurable logging system, etc. Most of its functionality is based on the MONICA framework, which is then tailored to fulfill all of the specific requirements of the MOC M&C system.

We remember last year's Job Fair which was our first time there. A year went by so fast and we were already making plans and preparing everything for our second round of meeting students and our new potential employees. We planned and wanted to present Amphinicy even better because we believe we have so much to offer to those who are in search of a great employer, interesting projects and a good working atmosphere.
Još samo nekoliko dana dijeli nas od početka Job Fair-a 2017 koji se i ove godine 17. i 18.05. održava na Fakultetu elektrotehnike i računarstva (FER) u Zagrebu.
This is a story about how we built a mini satellite ground station for less than $30, and how we use it to record images from the Russian weather satellite Meteor-M N2 every day. Latest images are uploaded daily to http://meteor.amphinicy.com.
The new year has started, and we are already hands on new projects. Looking back at 2016, we can agree it was a dynamic and meaningful year. Amphinicy was granted with two funds for SMEs which supported our sales and marketing activities as well as business development of our innovative product, Blink. We were busy and "out there" and would like to share our travel diary for 2016.
