The 7th annual SmallSat Symposium 2022 is taking place from 8 to 10 February 2022. The three-day conference will be delivered in a hybrid format. The attendees will have a chance to meet in person in Silicon Valley, Mountain View, CA - the epicentre of worldwide technological innovation - or join conference virtually from the comfort of their homes and offices. This year’s edition title is "Defining What's Next for the SmallSat Industry". Following the massive shift in satellite markets where the vast majority of satellites launched are smallsats, the event aims to “bring together the leaders driving this change to identify critical trends and qualify disruptive technologies”.
The program covers a wide range of topics. From more general, such as market prospects and regulatory and investment aspects, to more detailed covering emerging technologies and concepts such as Internet of Things, in-space servicing, mega-constellations, machine learning, and cloud computing, to name a few.
Amphinicy Technologies is a provider of software solutions for the satellite industry for over 20 years. In this time our teams have completed work on over 100 complex projects to our customers all around the world. We have accumulated the expertise and used it to create our own products: Blink, a fast software-defined modem and Monica, a modern monitoring and control solution for the ground segment.
We are following the small satellite market for a couple of years now. New satellites are carrying more sophisticated instruments and there are more of them per constellation. We also noticed the need for flexibility in terms of business models. All this reflects the architecture of our products and the model of delivery and collaboration with our customers and partners. This was one of the reasons we have decided to offer Blink as an AMI in the AWS Marketplace.
