Visit of ESA delegate at the Zagreb office

[Zagreb, 13 April 2022]

Amphinicy Technologies hosted a visit of an ESA delegation in the scope of the first national Calls for Outline Proposals under the Implementation Arrangement between European Space Agency (ESA) and the Government of the Republic of Croatia. The delegation came for a visit at the new Amphinicy premises at Bundek Centar in Zagreb. As of recent, a contract had been signed with the ESA on Blink.

The visit was organized by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Croatia (MSE). Doris Jozić from the Department for preparation, monitoring and implementation of scientific and technological policies and a project manager for the Republic of Croatia at the MSE was joined by the ESA representative Karol Brzostowski, a support engineer and country officer for Latvia, Slovenia and Croatia, and by Želimir Kramarić, a management board member at the Croatian agency for SMEs, Innovation and Investments (HAMAG BICRO). Amphinicy was represented by CEO Toni Jelavić as well as Tomislav Nakić-Alfirević, a solutions manager and Mirta Medanić, a program manager.

The presentation of the company was followed by discussions and a visit of the business facilities and the laboratories, where the participants had the occasion to discuss with the engineering teams about their ongoing projects.

The space and ground projects, which are in the scope of the first national Calls for Outline Proposals under the Implementation Arrangement between ESA and the Republic of Croatia have also been discussed in the context of this visit. As of recent, a contract had been signed with the ESA on Blink, and which had been mentioned in the news previously.
